Module 7 - Diaphragm and ribs.

Contents: Structural anatomy, physiology of the diaphragm in relation to the osteopathic relevance to:  The respiratory system; The autonomic nervous system; The vascular system; The parietal system; The visceral system; The cranio- sacral system  |  Structural anatomy of the ribs and sternum, artrology, myology in relation to the osteopathic relevance to the thoracic cavity and the spine and the autonomic nervous system, especially the first rib and the relevance to the caudal cervical ganglion and the endocrine system.  

Wet lab:  Practical training and extensive exercise of the examination, judgment and treatment of: The diaphragm; Myofascial release; Functional normalization, mobilization; The ribs: Inspiration, expiration disorders in relation to disorders of the spine.  |  Myofascial release, Structural normalization: recoil and thrust techniques; Functional mobilization; Special attention to examination and treatment of the first rib.
