‘THE VLUGGEN INSTITUTE’ WALDFEUCHT- OBSPRINGEN GERMANY :

It has come to our attention that there are courses offered under or with the cooperation and participation of the Vluggen Institute that are not affiliated to the Vluggen Institute in any way.

We want to clarify that the only courses offered by the Vluggen Institute are being held in San Marcos Texas or Waldfeucht- Obspringen Germany.


after following instructions in ten to thirteen intensive modules, a minimum of two dissectionlabs and satisfactory passing a written and practical exam before a jury of two delegates of the IAEO or IREO, the vluggen institute hands out a certificate of equine osteopath edo® that must be submitted to ‘the international register of

equine osteopaths edo®’ for validation.

the graduate will receive a personal register id code on the certificate which grants the use of the mark ‘ equine osteopath edo®’

the modules are thaught at various times throughout the year and can be attended in the united states ( san marcos tx) or in europe ( waldfeucht- obspringen germany)

courses must be attended consecutively as each module builds on the knowledge of the prior.

the courses for veterinarians, osteopaths do., dr. of chiropractic, FYSICAL THERAPISTS AND ANIMAL FYSICAL THERAPISTS:

training is devided in ten modules of four days or 36 contact hours.

there will be four till five modules per year for two years including the final exam and additional two days for the interim exam.

advancement from one year to the next is dependent on the results of a proficiency exam which tests theoretical knowledge and practical application.


the costs of the vetcourses EU:

 

each module is €1050,- with full payment due FOURtEen days prior to class date.

the coursebooks in black and white are free.

the courses for vet assistents, massage therapists and all equal certified equine therapists:

training is devided in thirteen modules of four days or 36 contact hours.

there will be four till five modules per year for three years, culminating with two days for the interim and two days for the final exam.

advancement from one year to the next is dependent on the results of the proficiency exam which tests theoretical knowledge and practical application.

the costs of the non veterinarian courses usa:

the cost of each module is €850,- with full payment due FOURTEEN days prior to class date.

the coursebooks in black and white are free.


payment:

 

payment can be made CASH OR BY BANKTRANSFER.

the course fee is non- refundable however is transferable to another class. exceptions will be made only in extreme circumstances.

due to limited class size and availability a partial deposit of €500,- is required to reserve your place in class within twenty days of received admittance to the courses.

if the partial deposit is not received within the prescribed period, the acceptance for the course becomes vacant for another student.

 

in the course the following subjects will be treated:

functional anatomy, fysiology, neurology, biomechanics, pathology, osteopathic evaluation and deduction.

skeleton structures will be present.

a dissection lab will be scheduled once a year, and is required for course completion.

 

a typical class day will begin by 9.00 am with four hours of interactive education including powerpoint presentation.

a detailed coursebook will be provided for notes and reference.

lunch is provided,

snacks and beverages are provided throughout the day.

a refrigerator IS available in the classroom.

the afternoon sessions will include a hands-on practical wet lab of training techniques.


preceptorship program:

from the fourth module on, students can elect to come AND observe the synergy of the veterinary medicine in conjunction with the equine osteopathy at the ANIMAL clinic OF DR. SCHIFFELERS. this provides an opportunity to see applied osteopathy in a live client situation and interaction. however, since space is limited and it concerns live clients of the clinic and dr. SCHIFFELERS, there are some rules and regulations to this. please contact the VLUGGENINSTITUTE for the specifics to enroll in this program.
